We would like to thank all our customers for the continued support and look forward to serving you into the future.
Over the last 12 months we have seen significant increases in energy, diesel, labour, taxation on mixed waste and various other costs that are unfortunately beyond our control. Our commitment remains strong in keeping your expenses as low as possible while providing exceptional service as well as minimising our impact on the environment.
To achieve this, from Feb 23, we are reducing the price of food waste by 2cent per kg, reducing the price of recycling by 1 cent per kg and increasing the service charge by 1 euro per month and the mixed waste by 2 cent per kg.
In order to minimise any cost increases we would encourage customers to use their brown food caddy. If you don’t currently have a food caddy or need an extra caddy, you can order yours by emailing info@higginsenvironmental.ie

Every 6 Months
All bins collected on the same day, once every fortnight.
Bin Size Options:
240 Litre Bins:
€176 every 6 months
based on a 300 kg weight allowance for your Waste Bin – any excess weight will be billed at 0.23 cent per kg on the following billing period.
140 Litre Bins:
€145 every 6 months
Based on a 300 kg weight allowance for your Waste Bin – any excess weight will be billed at 0.265 cent per kg on the following billing period.
Bins are provided – which includes a Waste Bin, Recycling Bin, and Food Waste Bin.
